You can solve this easily using the slope formula

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

[tex]m=\frac{6-(-4)}{(-5)-3}=\frac{6+4}{-8}=\frac{10}{-8}=-\frac{5}{4}[/tex]
