The recommendation I would give her is that she should try to attain a healthy pre-pregnancy weight first because her weight might make it difficult for her to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. She can attain a healthy pre- pregnancy weight by having frequent exercise, eating healthily, and adhering to weight loss rules.
Well if this is not for school I would recommend she see a family docter of someone with expertise. But if this is for school, it is pretty important she loose some weight I would recommend being no more than 180 pounds.
