The answer to this question is: c.It gives personal advice into events. She would not have got on that bus, if she had recognised the bus driver. That was the same bus driver that had segregated her before. It sounds as if she did not want to get into trouble.

Rosa Parks is known as the mother of the modern day of civil right movement in the U.S. In 1955, She did something on behalf of her black brothers and sisters; she refused to give her bus seat to a white male passanger. Parks' reaction triggered a wave of protests and this changed the view that white North Americans had of black people.
