Once Clinton took office, he focused his foreign policy on the different genocides going on around the world. This included the ones in Rwanda, Somalia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The massive violation of human rights taken place in these three different countries resulted in Clinton and the United Nations taking a bigger role in interfering with other countries political and social affairs.
