Hello there!

I would say that the answer that you are seeking is A)
Hi there!

Usually when we describe any type of tumor, we describe it in four ways. The medical term for a tumor is a Neoplasm. However neoplasms can come in four varieties; In Situ, Benign, Malignant, or Neoplasms of unknown nature. In Situ usually is used to describe abnormal cancerous cells surrounded by other cells. This is still considered a tumor and is a lot of times called precancerous neoplasms. Malignant neoplasms are pure cancerous tumors, they will spread to surrounding tissues if left unchecked. The last type of tumor is the one your looking for.

Benign Neoplasms are described as tumors that are noncancerous and are usually singular large abnormal collections of normal cells. In other words they are noncancerous.
