(For the love of god, help!) In Lord Of The Flies, Rodger purposely drops the rock that kills Piggy
How does this detail support the theme that without anyone to enforce rules, man will break them?

A: Rodger knows no one can punish him, so he acts without regard for his fellow man (This is my guess)

B: Rodger knows he will be punished, but commits this horrid act anyway

C: Roger thinks he will be honored for killing Piggy, so he does it.

D: Roger believes that Piggy is a negative force in the group, so he kills him.

I believe you have the best answer out of all of them. Roger killed Piggy because he could. Throughout the story he was mean and he just kind of let himself go and just went ahead and killed him. He didn't think about consequences at all during he just pushed the rock and let it fall.
