one of congress's legislative and non legislatives is that they can choose the laws and they get to make them final but they have to pass thru the judge.

A typical legislative power granted by the US Constitution includes Creation of bills, Check on Executive and Judiciary, Debate of National policy etc.

However, the US Constitution also grant some Non-legislative power to the Legislative branch and it includes:

  • The abilities to amend the constitution.
  • The power to approve or reject the presidential appointments.
  • Power to investigate matters that interfere with or impede its legislative duties.
  • Power to impeach officials etc

Therefore, the power that can be exercised by the Unicameral legislators includes both the Legislative and Non-legislative powers.
