A wheel has a diameter of 21 inches. About how far does it travel if it makes 30 complete revolutions?

You can use the circumference of a circle, that is
C = 2π(d/2)
The one revolution of a wheel is
C = 2π(21/2) = 21π in
For 30 complete revolutions, you will get
30(21 π) = 630π in = 1979.20 in
