When were writing a ratio, we will be writing it like X:Y, or in this case, A:B.
If A = 8 and B = 4, that means its like 8:4.
When we're finding the ratio, that means we're dividing. This is what it is now.
8/4
Do the division.
8/4 = 2.
The ratio of A to B is 2.
