A passenger escalator travels from the first floor to the fifth floor a distance of 10 m in 10 seconds what is the escalator speed

It is presumed that the 10m is the vertical distance in 4 floors so 10meters divided by 10 seconds is 1m/second is the average speed of the escalator. Hard to add anything to this to make up to the required 40 words.
