Then In 1 minute Georgina can run a distance of = 3/(8 * 3) miles
                                                                               = 3/24 miles

So it can be said now that in 1 minute the distance that Georgina can cover is 1/8 miles. If required it can be converted to decimal value as well.

First, you would divide the 3/8 by 3 to get how many miles in 1 minute. 
3/8 by 3 is the same thing as 3/8 times 1/3. Which equals 1/8.
