Why do people harm themselves using harmful substances and other methods to die, when they have so much of their wonderful lives to live?

because they are either ignorent and do not understand what they are doing or they do not see theirs lives as wonderful, they are trying to escape something that is going on that they do not want to deal with
Sometimes it's because something tramatic happened in their life and they don't know what to do with their lives.



...... or they're just plain stupid.
