neutral should be the answer

Salt is neutral.

Salts are ionic compounds. In aqueous solution, they get dissociate into positive and negative ions. In a salt solution,  positive charge is equal to the negative charge thus, the overall solution is neutral.

For example: Sodium chloride, NaCl is ionic compound made up of Na^{+} and Cl^{-} ions. There is one positive and one negative charge thus, overall it is neutral.
