[tex] - \frac{3}{4} - \frac{5}{6} [/tex]
Write all numerators above the common denominator,
4*3=12 and 6*2=12 so 12 is the common denominator.
3*3=9 and 5*2=10 and add them!!
[tex] - \frac{9 + 10}{12} [/tex]
Add the numbers,
[tex] - \frac{19}{12} [/tex]
Alternative form(s) :
[tex] - 1 \frac{7}{12} [/tex]
Or, about - 1.58333¯.
