The Alps mountain range in Europe
is over 500 miles long or approximately 750 miles. It is also the highest
mountain range in Europe with its peak reaching 15,000 feet. It is located north
of the Mediterranean Sea and comprises parts of France, Germany, Switzerland,
Austria, and Yugoslavia.
