Suppose each cube in this right rectangular prism is a 1/2 -inch unit cube.

A. What are the dimensions of the prism?
B. What is the volume of the prism?

Suppose each cube in this right rectangular prism is a 12 inch unit cube A What are the dimensions of the prism B What is the volume of the prism class=

Respuesta :

a. So dimension is like the length, width, and height. The length is 2 cm (4 cubes), the width is 2 and a half cm (5 cubes), and the height is 1 and a half cm (3 cubes).
b. To get the volume you have to multiply the length and width by the height. Which would be 4 cubes (length)× 3 cubes (height)= 12 cubes. Then 5 cubes (width)×3 cubes (height)= 15 cubes. After you do that you have to multiply the two answers (12 cubes×15 cubes). So the answer is 180. I think this is right and I hope it helps.
