I would describe Cieza posture toward the Inca Empire by he seen this empire as a strong flourishing one with compassion towards others, but also stern and lawful. What he seemed to appreciate about the Inca Empire was in fact on how they treated others fairly and with utmost respect. The difficulties the Inca rulers faced in governing their large and diverse realm where they had to focus on so many smaller regions or towns that they had to travel some distances or spread out their army across large regions. The Policies or practices the Inca authorities followed in seeking to integrate their empire were they performed rituals or religious ceremonies to the Gods. How this compares to other empires that I have studied was that the Incas seemed more of a civilized society in which they were very respectful for others. I do believe such terms as totalitarian or socialist are appropriate in order to describing the Inca Empire. I also would describe them as nice, passionate, respectful, loyal, and lawful.
