people pray to the saints cuz they believe that the saints will grant them wishes. for example, some people pray to saint anthony if they lost something.
people should not pray to saints cuz prayers are used to communicate with God. the saints were just instruments of God. People should just use the saints as inspiration to be more godly like Jesus.
