The answer is [A] ( I had this question on my test)

The correct answer is A) FRD programs are straying too far from American ideals.

This cartoon of 1933 expresses that FRD programs are straying too far from American ideals.

As soon as President Franklin D. Roosevelt took office on March 3, 1933, he wanted to change the United States situation due to the Great Depression due to the stock market crash of the early 1920s. What he did was to create a special program called the New Deal. This program established the formation of many offices to help the American people such as the Social Security Act, the Public Works Administration, and the Civilian Conservation Corps.

But as it appears in the cartoon of that same year, many liberals considered that President Roosevelt’s programs were straying too far from American ideals.
