Erica filled 2/5 of a page of her notebook on Monday. She filled 5/6 of a page on Tuesday. How many pages did Erica fill in her notebook? Express you answer in simplest form....Help me plzzzzz

Start with the denominator 

To compare or combined they must be the same kind. Basically the bottom numbers have to be the same.


5 x 6 = 30 

Now go across  from the bottom number to the top 


5 x 5 = 25
6 x 2 = 12

12/30 + 25/30 = 37/30
