Follow these steps
1.) Don't panic - The reason your boss is getting fired most likely has nothing to do with you.
2.) Make yourself visible - When your boss gets fired the CEO will be closely watching you to see if your team can handle the transition nicely. This means they are also looking to move someone up to fill your bosses spot.
3.) DON'T TALK TRASH - If you talk trash about your boss the CEO will most likely care. The decision to let your boss go might have been hard, even if she did deserve it. They will be watching to see if you take your job seriously, rather then gossiping on the job or off.
