Find the magnitude of the vertical force
this lawnmower exerts on the lawn.

The solution for this problem is computed by:

 

We must look for the weight of the lawnmower = mg = 27 x 9.8 = 264.6 N 

Then look for the component of exerted force in downwards direction = 180 sin (31) = 92.71 N 

Total downwards force = 264.6 + 92.71 = 357.31 N
