I agree with that statement
Silk road connected the trades between countries in Asia, Europe , and African region. During this trade a lot of things were exchanged between countries among these continents, such as artworks, technology, scientific knowledge, etc which pretty much contribute to all the development that started to emerge in post-classical world.
