I need help putting my letter into the way it should sound from early 1990s having to do with the Second Industrial Revolution.

Dearest Emma,
I am writing to you from America. I am sorry to have left you in China but I had to find better work. As I got here I noticed that so many things were different. I wasn't treated very well either. The white men gave me a job but they kept an eye on me as though they did not trust me, as if I were stealing rom them. Coming here I was excited, a new start and a new way of living. I do wish to be back home though. But get this! I don't have to walk long distances anymore, nor do I have to worry about communicating to other people from far away. We have trains that take us to the other side of the Americas in just about 2 weeks. and Now I can send a message and know that the other is receiving it!
Until next time,
Anna
