Rosa Parks and the Bus: Rosa Parks is known as the mother of the civil rights movement. She became known because she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery city bus, she was convicted for that because she violated the segregating laws. This ended when the US Supreme Court ruled that the bus segregation was unconstitutional.
Brown v. Board of Education: Was a case ruled by the US Supreme Court that established that any discrimination of children in public schools was unconstitutional.
