The easiest way to solve problems with consecutive integers is set the first as: 1st number =( x-1) 2nd number = x 3rd number = (x+1) [since all are consecutive)
(x-1) + x + (x+1) = 108 3x = 108 x = 36 Obviously you could have set x. the 1st; x+1 the 2nd & x+2 the 3rd & you would reach the same result x =36
