PLEASE HELP WILL RATE BRAINLIEST!!!!!! The triangles are congruent by SSS and HL.

Which transformation(s) can be used to map â–³RST onto
â–³VWX?

A.reflection only

B.translation only

C.reflection, then translation

D.rotation, then translation

PLEASE HELP WILL RATE BRAINLIEST The triangles are congruent by SSS and HL Which transformations can be used to map RST onto VWX Areflection only Btranslation o class=

Respuesta :

It would have to be D because it is obviously not just a translation or just a reflection. if you were to reflect it and then translate it then the triangle would just be facing the opposite direction but unless there is rotation involved then there is no way that the other triangle could end up upside down unless you were to reflect it twice but that is not an answer. In other words... its D

Answer:

Option D

Step-by-step explanation:

Given are pictures of two congruent triangles RST and VWX

We are to find the transformation used to map the first triangle onto the second.

We find that there is no axis of symmetry between these two triangles hence option A reflection is not possible

Option B translation i.e. mere shifting of units also is not possible

Option C, reflection and translation does not suit this

But option D rotating WXV by an angle of 180 and then translation will give the desired result

Hence option d) rotation, then translation

is right answer
