     Stage direction is an indication of movement, position or tone of an actor/actress, or the sound effects and lightning in a play. An example of a stage direction from a surprising point of view is when two actors are instructed to do or say something that will make a certain part of the play more dramatic.

     A Surprising Point of View helped my understanding of stage direction because it provided plenty of examples of it. Many of the lines that was in the brackets were different types of stage direction, including tone and movement
