Neurons use electrical impulses and chemical signals to transmit information between different areas of the brain and between the brain and the rest of the nervous system. Information is passed from one neuron to another through neurotransmission. Brainliest answer, please?

Yes they do. At a synapse (junction between two neurons) chemicals called neurotransmitters are released from one neuron and diffused to another. The second neuron picks up these chemical which then generates another electrical impulse passing it along the axon. There are many different types of neurotransmitters, they diffuse back into their synaptic vesicles once the second impulse is generated.
