The ironic fact about Daisy’s reaction to her first, and only, Gatsby party is that she did not enjoy it at all even thought Gatsby threw an extravagant party only for her.

Daisy is offended by the party because she thinks it wasn't a gesture but an emotion. We can perceive by reading the novel that Daisy does not have much fun at the party. In fact, Daisy shows her snobbish side while at the party.
