Which of the following methods would be the easiest to use to solve x2 + 4x + 3 = 0?
A:factoring
B:isolating the x2 term and finding the square root of both sides
C:using the quadratic formula
D:All three methods would be easy and effective.

Respuesta :

I would choose A. factoring.

Personally, factoring is the method of my choice and I use it whenever possible. Isolating the xΒ² would take a lot more unnecessary steps for solving, and the quadratic formula isn't the simplest way to solve.

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)
