why are interactions of hormones and tissues in the menstrual cycle considered to be feedback mechanisms

Respuesta :

Well, presumably you know that a feedback mechanism is a mechanism in which the final product of a chain like reaction inhibits the catalyst catalysing the first stage of that chain reaction when in large concentrations. The hormones of the menstrual cycle : FSH, LH, progesterone, oestrogen when in large concentrations, or better put, after performing their function in the menstrual cycle are inhibited to prevent over performance which can lead to serious problems. This is why I feel the hormones in menstrual cycle follow feedback mechanisms.
