Colby wants to set square tiles on the top of a wooden box. The top of the box is a rectangle7 1/2 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide.

How many 1/2 -inch square tiles would Colby need to cover the top of the box?

Multiply 7 1/2 by 5 1/2 and get 41 and 1/4 

now divide 41 1/4 by 1/2 and get 83..

83 would be your answer(I got a little confused so this might be wrong D:)
