The formula for the volume of a rectangular prism is

V=l*w*h     where l=length  w=width and h=height
plug in the data we know
V=40*20*4
V=3200ft³

Now for the hot tub.

3200ft³*1/4=800ft³

Add the volumes together
3200+800=4000ft³

Answer=4000ft³
