r = Ronald's age.

m = r + 4 (1)

(m - 5) = 2(r - 5)

m - 5 = 2r - 10

m = 2r - 5 (2)

Equaling 1 and 2

r + 4 = 2r - 5

r = 9 (That's Ronald's age)

Now we replace r = 9 in (1)

m = 9 + 4 = 13 (That's Mimi's age)
