Regardless of who the speech is made by, the listener must concern themselves with the evidence being offered to them. The listener must evaluate the evidence offered in the speech based on its accuracy, the objectiveness of its sources, the support offered to the speaker's claims by their evidence, and the relevance of the evidence to the claims made.
