1) (Note: it is necessary to put the numbers in order first)
Girls (in order): 60, 90, 115, 120, 120, 120, 120, 120, 120, 150, 150, 150, 150, 170, 180, 180, 180, 180, 180, 180, 180, 180, 180, 200, 240, 240.
a. Divide the girls' numbers into 5 sections. These are the (lower extreme: which are 60, 90, 115), lower quartile: which are all of the 120's and 150's), (median: which is 170 only), (upper quartile: which is all the 180's), and (upper extreme: which is 200, and the 240's).
b. mean: 155>>>Get this by adding all the girls' numbers, and then dividing by 27, which is how many numbers were added.
c. median: 170
d. minimum: 60>>>this is the lowest number
e. Maximum: 240>>>This is the biggest number
f. Q1: what numbers are in Quartile 1?: all of the 120's and 150's
g. what are the numbers in quartile 3?: all the 180's

Boys (in order):

Now, find the mean, median, maximum, minimum, quartile 1, and quartile 3.

Lastly, on the bottom of the page you are just going to draw your quadrants. If you need to see a diagram of this just see the attached picture. Your box plot should look something like the picture.

I hope this helps!
