What would be the topic sentence? "First of all, being alive and healthy is key to a persons happiness. For example, my friends mom, a poor woman, went through this situation a few years ago." Which one of the two sentences is the topic sentence? Or is it both? Help

Your topic sentence would be "First of all, being alive and healthy is key to a persons happiness."

I would go with the first of all because it sounds a lot more professional than the other one with the other sentence I would use as an actual example in a body paragraph later on
