John Quincy Adams was one of the presidents of the United States. He ran for the elections in 1824 and became president in 1825. As part of his presidential campaign, John Quincy Adams addressed important issues of that era including:

  • The need of investing in the creation of some national institutions such as a national university and an astronomical observatory.
  • The urgency for creating agreements with Native Americans.
  • The need of finishing important construction projects.
  • The urgency to expand the trade and strengthen the economy of the United States.

All of these issues and proposals were later addressed by Adams who was considered to have a very busy agenda.
