You must use quadratic formula for each.

The term in front of the [tex] x^{2} [/tex] is the "a" value in the quadratic formula. The term in front of the [tex]x[/tex] is the "b" value. And the constant term (no x's) is the "c" value. Now you must simply substitute these values into the quadratic formula for each question.

1.) [tex]x = -0.268[/tex] and [tex]x = -3.732[/tex]

2.) [tex]x = -0.838[/tex] and [tex]x = -7.16[/tex]

3.) [tex]x = 3.56[/tex] and [tex]x = -0.561[/tex]

4.) [tex]x = 6.70[/tex] and [tex]x = 0.298[/tex]

Hope this helps!
