6×5=30. the sum of the five numbers is 30. then just do 30-7-8-5-2=8. 8 is the number on the bottom card.
The bottom card will have the number 8. To get the median, you add all the numbers together and then divide by how many numbers there are. Working backwards, there are 5 numbers and the mean Is 6 so 5x6 is 30 and then subtract the 7,8,5, and 2, and 8 is left over.
