**Tip: inverse means opposite**
1.) The opposite of '+' is '-' so the opposite of "x - 4" is "x + 4."
2.) The opposite of -0.5x (or -1/2) is positive 2x (to get the opposite of a fraction you switch the nominator and the denominator, and the sign, if a fraction has 1 as the nominator when you switch them there is no need to write it, for example; 1/3 would be 3/1 which is 3.)
3.) I think you made a typo...but hopefully you get the my point so far.
4.) The inverse of "x + 4" is "x - 4."
5.) The inverse of "4x" should be "-0.25x," I think there may have been a typo here too.
6.) The inverse of "x/2" is "-2x."
