If she just makes sundaes for a single shift of at most 4 hours and at least 2 hours, which function relates her earnings to the number of minutes she works?

First, find the relationship between the number of minutes, x, she works and the number of sundaes,s, she makes

She makes s = [1sundae / 2 minutes]* x = x/2

Now find the relation of the earnings, E, with the number of sundaes she works

 E =  $1.20* s = 1.2s.

And finally, relate E with the number of minutes she works,  x: E = 1.2 [ x/2]

E = 0.6x
