9(x + 1)^4 - 19(x + 1)^2 + 2 = 0
After expanding and re-factoring, we have:
(3x + 2)(3x + 4)(x^2 + 2x - 1) = 0
solutions are x = -2/3, x = -4/3, x = -1 - sqrt(2), x = sqrt(2) - 1
