I believe that college students who live at home are less likely to engage in binge drinking because of peer pressure. When you are in college you are surrounded around different types of influences, some being good and others being bad. Bad influences could peer pressure others to join in on activities like smoking or binge drinking. Since college students that live at home are not around these influences as much they would not be able engage in as much as someone that lives on campus would. Therefore, they would engage in bing drinking less than someone that lives on a college campus would. (I’m sorry if it’s not good, I did this as fast as I could)
College students who live at home are less likely to binge drink because of peer pressure. When a student is home they are not being strongly influenced by their classmates. The student may go to a party and partake in binge drinking because they simply see another person doing so. Under parental supervision a student can not partake in these events. Students may also feel like they need to binge drink to impress the other students. (It’s 4am sorry if this is wrong just comment and I’ll help)
