I am writing to you to inform you that we finally managed to capture the city of
San Antonio de Béxar. After two months we were able to achieve our goal. It would be impossible without the leadership of our general Austin. He encouraged us to prevail. Not to lose our spirit. And we did not. We were high in spirit, even though it was hard sometimes. No food, no provisions. But, still we made it ! Hopefully this will be one step towards our freedom.
