The y intercept is just where the line crosses the y axis. In this graph, the line is crossing 2 on the y axis. The slope is the rise over the run. Rise is how many points up the line goes and run is how many points to the left or right it goes. If you count the boxes, the line goes up 1 box and 2 boxes to the right. (It may sound confusing but you'll get the hand of it)
