In my opinion, it depends. But I would say its a 90% chance of how social media really impacts. According to Google it says "Using social media more often, though, increases FOMO and feelings of inadequacy, dissatisfaction, and isolation. In turn, these feelings negatively affect your mood and worsen symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress." Which is true because for example...when you go through instagram, you see models,-people who have "perfect bodies" and you look and yours and start losing self-esteem because you don't like the way you look. People tend to feel that way. Another thing is that life is not perfect and not everyone has a perfect life. We clearly see that on social media because people don't include everything in their life-only the good parts. They hide their "body fat" "Anxiety" "Depression" "Getting bullied". They don't want anyone to see their dark side. And that's the dark thing about social media.
