1. Bell's Palsy is an affliction of one of the cranial nerves. Typically, a person with Bell's Palsy has a difficult time tasting food. Based on that bit of information, which cranial nerve is affected?
2. As a person ages, their ability to focus on near objects changes. If a person is already myopic (near-sighted), why would corrective lenses not be necessary to read a book or computer screen?

Respuesta :

Answer(s):

1- Facial nerve

2- The term myopic or 'near-sighted' means that they are unable to see things clearly unless they are relatively close to the eyes, owing to the focusing of rays of light by the eye at a point in front of the retina. If the person was to get some sort of corrective lenses, they would not need them for close up things such as the book or computer screen. Instead they would need them to see the TV or to watch a movie.
