What do you do when a check bounces? This has never happened to me, but I'm just curious on what are you supposed to do? So you tell the bank? Let's say you sold something and a person gives you a check and it bounces, what do you do? Are you just screwed from then on??

I would call A) the bank to find out why the check bounced and B) the place/person that I wrote the check to in the first place with an apology and then C) if they had not already ran the check through a second time I would rush to pick it up and pay the fees.
